House rules and rental terms

These are the rules you agree to when booking. The same text is in the contract we send you by e-mail.

Safety

The hirer is responsible for the safety of visitors, including the bouldering wall and sports equipment, throughout the entire hire period.
When climbing, care must be taken to ensure that no one enters the area directly beneath the climber — to allow for a safe landing on the mat.
The venue is not suitable for running. Running at speed poses a risk of slipping on the wooden floor, particularly for children.
The floor is laid on slats to make it soft underfoot. Jumping on it is not permitted.
For safety reasons, the space in the wooden cabin is intended for sleeping only; it is not intended for eating or any physical activities.

You must wear only socks or soft fabric slippers inside the Clubhouse. Footwear with rubber or other hard soles is not permitted. We recommend slippers — particularly in winter.

All alcohol (including wine and beer) and smoking are prohibited, including e-cigarettes.
The use of open flames is prohibited, with the exception of candles on cakes — these must not be left unattended.
Pets are not permitted in the Clubhouse, to protect those with allergies.
To prevent breakages, please do not lean against the mirrors or touch them with your hands.

Do not place wet items on the wooden floor, furniture, benches or kitchen worktop. Glasses and mugs may only be used downstairs; do not take them up to the wooden playhouse.
Wipe up any spills immediately and dry the area.
In the event of exceptional circumstances, contact the owner immediately and take steps to protect both participants and property.

You are in a residential block with families and young children; some neighbours are sensitive to the noise made by children. Please be considerate of one another — have fun, but keep the noise to a minimum.
Quiet hours are from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am. This means: carry on playing and chatting, but turn the music down, don’t let the children run up and down the stairs or in the corridor, and keep the area in front of the building completely quiet.

The hirer must ensure that all visitors are made aware of these rules in advance.

Vacuum the floor.
Take out the sorted rubbish.
Wash and polish the mirrors if they have been touched — use Clin and paper towels or toilet paper to remove smudges and fingerprints.
Wash and tidy away the used crockery, load the dishwasher and start it (no need to unload it).
Return the tables and chairs to their original positions.

If a booking is cancelled more than 30 days before the date, we will refund 100 per cent of the amount paid.
If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days before the date, we will refund 50 per cent of the amount paid.
Instead of a refund, the hirer may opt for a voucher for an alternative date, worth the full value of the booking, valid for 365 days from the original date.
The deposit is always refunded in full, provided no damage has occurred.
